Cornell Hotel Society Names 2023 Inductees

The Cornell Hotel Society has revealed the 2023 class of the Cornell Hotelie Hall of Fame and the winner of its Rising Star award.

The inductees are:

The Rising Star award, which recognizes early Hotelie successes, is being presented to Karim Abouelnaga ’13.

The Hall of Fame recognizes alumni of the Cornell Peter and Stephanie Nolan School of Hotel Administration who have distinguished themselves as leaders in the industry and celebrates stalwarts from the school.

“The committee has chosen a very special class of 11 inductees representing many aspects of Hotelie successes,” said Teng. “While we didn’t start out with a theme for this class, as we selected the inductees, the theme ‘Game Changers’ emerged. The Hotelies didn’t just play the game better than others, they literally changed the game for the industry.”
