Senior Software Engineer

Rapidly growing startup is looking for exceptional software engineers aspiring to help change an industry. If you are uncommon; if you think software engineer is too generic; and you understand knowing everything is boring, keep reading!

Successful candidates will have a passion for building solutions to real-world problems. You appreciate the latest emerging technology and know when not to use it. Front-end, middleware and backend describe your playground – you can do any of them even if you love another. Data is not simply something you push and pull to populate your applications, but something you approach with veracious curiosity.  Big data is something you giggle about – if you don’t then you also have the courage to ask about the joke. You do more than code. You scare DBAs and systems administrators with your systems prowess and while its not your only focus, you know the speed that comes with understanding not just what you built but how it runs. You embody or recognize esthetics of code, user experience and data visualization. You take pride in your work and yet you know humbly that there are many ways to success. You are so proficient that you can rebuild in the time it takes others to sleep. Excellence isn’t interesting to you unless it also comes with growth. You thrive in agile environments – you understand why that’s not just a shorter waterfall. Having fun is integral to what you do.
