As Senior Vice President of Sales and Marketing, David Attardi leads Kalibri Labs’ talented team of marketing and sales professionals in educating and informing hotel owners, operators, asset managers, and other industry decision makers of Kalibri Labs suite of hotel revenue strategy products and reports designed to help them better evaluate and predict their revenue performance in a more granular and effective way than ever before. Additionally, David champions Kalibri Labs’ growth into the real estate and development side of the hotel industry, helping shape and provide new tools for hotel developers, lenders, and brokers.
Prior to joining Kalibri Labs, David served as Vice President of Lodging Development for Red Lion Hotels Corporation, where he led the public company’s aggressive franchise growth up and down the east coast. Having executed dozens of deals in brand new markets during his tenure, David was an integral part of the company’s success and significant expansion since 2014, during which time the company grew from less than 50 hotels to over 1,100. He was responsible for introducing RLHC and their brands to several institutional owners and management companies for the first time in the company’s history.
Before helping put RLHC on the map in the eastern half of the country, David served as Vice President at B. F. Saul Company Hospitality Group in Bethesda, MD. While at B. F. Saul Company, David led the group’s strategic on-and-off-line revenue delivery initiatives and was responsible for driving top-line revenue through all distribution channels.
David has always been actively engaged in several leadership positions within the hospitality industry. Some of David’s past involvements include being founder and past-chair of the IHG Owners Association’s Emerging Leaders Council; Vice Chair of the IHG Owners Association’s Revenue Delivery Committee; founding member of the Marriott Ecommerce Franchise Committee; and Board member for the Washington, DC chapter of HSMAI.
As an avid traveler himself, David is a passionate advocate for the travel and tourism industry in the United States, and is an active participant in the AH&LA’s Legislative Action Summit.
David holds a double bachelor’s degree in public relations and theatre arts from Virginia Tech, and an MBA from the University of Kansas’ international business program in northern Italy, the Consortium Institute of Management and Business Analysis (CIMBA). He lives in northwest Washington, DC and is a proud Washington Nationals season ticket holder!
