Cindy Estis Green

Cindy’s career began in corporate marketing and senior operations roles for Hilton International. After starting up the data mining and analytics firm, Driving Revenue, and selling it to Pegasus Solutions, Cindy spent twelve years as managing partner of The Estis Group providing strategic marketing consulting to the hospitality industry. Co-author of the 2012 Distribution Channel Analysis: A Guide for Hotels and over a dozen other industry publications on the topic of marketing technology, Cindy has been honored as one of the 25 Extraordinary Minds in Sales and Marketing, was inducted into the prestigious Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame and named as one of Cornell University’s 90 Influential Hotelies. She is currently a member of the HITEC Advisory Council, the HSMAI Foundation Board of Trustees, leads the AH&LA Consumer Innovation Forum and the HSMAI Resort Best Practices Initiative and holds a board seat for The Knowland Group. She launched Kalibri Labs in 2012 offering the hospitality industry data analytics to evaluate net revenue performance and manage the rising cost of customer acquisition. Cindy holds a BS degree from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and an MBA from The American University.

Bob Bennett

COO & Co-founder

Bob has a over thirty years of Senior IT experience in the hospitality industry. His experience ranges from large international brands (Hilton & Marriott) to industry leaders in PMS & CRS technology (Micro-Fidelio & Pegasus Solutions). Additionally, he led the Hospitality Technology practice at PWC and founded his own company, Starr Technology Consulting. He is active with both HITEC and HFTP and was inducted into the Hospitality Technology Hall of Fame. Bob holds a BS from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration and attended Cornell University’s Johnson School of Business.

If he could, Bob would live in Sydney, Australia for a year. His most interesting weekend was spent at the Woodstock Music and Art Fair and he still has the tickets.

Rebecca Bucnis

EVP & Chief Commercial Officer

Rebecca is a seasoned executive and strategist focused on the use of data, emerging information and the latest technology to drive enhanced business insight and new approaches to commercial performance.  At Kalibri Labs she is responsible for business execution and customer strategy of deep analytic insight to assist hospitality executives address the evolving demand of digitally-empowered travellers. Driving innovative insight from a variety of data sources, she focuses on the use of new data, booking patterns and additional channel distribution details to help executives and decisions maker with new information to better understand shifting demands of the modern consumer. 

Rebecca derives her expertise from over 15 years of consulting and direct positions with retail, travel and hospitality companies, with living and working experience in Americas, Europe and Asia.  In her most recent position at MongoDB, the post-relational database company, she was the Global Business Strategist and Architect, responsible for business portfolio development, focused on using game-changing capabilities of MongoDB to meet the requirements of modern business complexities.  Prior to joining MongoDB, Ms. Bucnis worked with a variety of roles where she focused the use of customer insight to drive better marketing communications.  Rebecca holds a BA from the University of Michigan and an MBA from the American University and is a frequent lecturer and professional speaker.

Mark Lomanno

Partner & Senior Advisor

Mark advises several start-up and investment companies in the hospitality and data space, including newBrandAnalytics, Duetto Research, Kalibri Labs and Thayer Hospitality Ventures. In that role he serves on company Boards of Directors and Advisors, and takes an active role in helping shape the respective company’s strategic direction, creating & enhancing new research solutions and building relationships with hospitality brands, owners & operators. Mark is the former President and CEO of Smith Travel Research (STR). Under his fifteen years of leadership, the company grew from a US firm to the most respected name in global hotel benchmarking. While at STR, Mark co-authored the 2012 Distribution Channel Analysis: A Guide for Hotels with Cindy Estis Green.

Mark serves on the advisory board of the Center for Hospitality Research at Cornell University and University of Delaware’s school of Hotel, Restaurant and Institutional management, is an active member in the Hotel Development Council of the Urban Land Institute and is a named Conti Professor at Pennsylvania State University. Mark also serves on the advisory board of The School of Tourism & Hospitality Management at Temple University, where he teaches a graduate level course “New Media and Distribution.” Mark holds a MS in Marketing from LaSalle University and an MBA from Temple University.

Mark Mazzocco

Vice President, Revenue Strategy

Mark Mazzocco leads our revenue strategy team, working to identify and implement new client solutions.  He joined Kalibri Labs from Burson Marsteller, a leading crisis management firm in the DC area, where he led the client team responsible for development and delivery of their online audience analytics products. Prior to that he led the data management team at Recyclebank, a recycling loyalty and rewards start up.  Mark has over ten years of revenue analytics experience in the hospitality industry, having worked both on property and helping to lead Hilton's Corporate Revenue Management team.  Mark holds a BS in Economics from Bates College.


Andrew Cuga

Director of Engineering

Andrew's exposure to the hospitality industry began with HotelMe, where he was responsible for coordinating web service integration with major hotel brands' information systems for hotel review verification, in addition to full stack development on their cloud platform.

Prior to joining Kalibri Labs, Andrew led the development team for the system integration between a third party Learning Management System and the Student Information System at K12 Inc, the nation's largest Education Management Organization.  As part of this effort, he guided K12's migration to industry standards for system communication. His career is rooted in the Defense and Intelligence Communities, where his skills were honed in consulting, application development, and enterprise systems integrations.  During his time at Booz Allen Hamilton he became an advocate for agile development methodologies and service-oriented architecture.

Elisa Fritsch

Director of Marketing

Elisa heads up marketing at Kalibri Labs, and is excited to work with a team that gives hoteliers insights and tools to bolster both top and bottom line revenue.

Elisa got her start in hospitality as a commercial real estate agent focused on hotels where she learned the ins and outs of negotiating, hotel valuation, and successful deal project management. Prior to Kalibri Labs Elisa worked at Choice Hotels International managing development marketing for franchise sales.  At Choice, she lead the content and creative development for media and advertising campaigns, as well as collateral material development across 11 brands, earning several internal awards for performance excellence, as well as a Gold Adrian Award from HSMAI in the Direct Mail Category for best practices in hospitality and tourism marketing.

Elisa is an avid international traveler, loves exploring new countries and cultures, and has been to 5 out of the 7 continents so far. She hopes one day to be able to live 6 months at a time in different countries - long enough to really absorb the local culture. 


Zoe Hamilton

Director, Product & Data Strategy

Zoe is inspired by the challenge of leveraging the power of data to help businesses improve. Prior to joining Kalibri Labs, Zoe spent seven years leading the analytics team and developing innovative products at Avero – the leading software platform for the restaurant industry. She has extensive experience building and launching best-in-class products that help identify opportunities to drive profitability. In addition, Zoe has a strong foundation in data analytics and proven success with cleansing and analyzing disparate data sets to identify actionable insights. Zoe holds a BS from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.

Kiersten Pearce

Director, Industry Relations

Kiersten has over nine years of digital sales & marketing experience in the travel industry. Prior to joining Kalibri Labs she spent nearly four years in the airline sector in eCommerce for Qatar Airways managing Direct and OTA Sales for North and South America. Before her time at Qatar Airways she spent five years in Client Services managing the Hyatt Hotels & Resorts account at the interactive hotel marketing company MICROS Ecommerce (formerly TIG Global). Kiersten holds a BS in Finance from Virginia Tech’s Pamplin School of Business.

In addition to managing all industry relationships, Kiersten handles marketing for Kalibri Labs and assists in project managing AH&LA’s Consumer Innovation Forum.

Favorite city Kiersten's visited is Oman, Muscat.  Kiersten's favorite quote: “What if you woke up today with only the things you thanked God for yesterday."  - unknown


Robert Sink

Director, Systems Architecture

Robert's interest in computing began in his early childhood, later supported by jobs in the hospitality industry, until landing a job during the first dot com boom with an Internet service provider. 

Since then, Robert has supported researchers' endeavors on grants-based research,  designed 24x7, mission critical, customer facing systems for companies pre and post-IPO, as well as an entire enterprise development team as they transitioned their on-premise product to a cloud-based offering, requiring retooling and the application of continuous integration and continuous delivery principles.

Fun fact: Robert literally transitioned from checking in hotel guests to racking servers for a large DC area ISP during the dot com boom. 


Kathleen Ayers

Manager, Information Architecture

Kathleen has four years of data analytics and business intelligence experience and is interested in exploring the numerous ways in which data can shape decision making in the hospitality industry. Prior to joining Kalibri Labs, Kathleen worked on the Business Analytics team at Hilton Worldwide where she was an integral part of building and expanding the company’s Enterprise Data Warehouse. While at Hilton, she was a power user of multiple business intelligence tools and developed dashboards and reports for other analytics teams throughout the organization. In addition to her BI and database responsibilities, Kathleen analyzed internal and industry trends to prepare the executive team for quarterly earnings calls.

Kathleen graduated from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration with a concentration in Information Systems.

Matt Carrier

Director of Client Engagement

Matt has spent five years in the hospitality distribution and revenue strategy space. With that experience, Matt is inspired by the rapid evolution in this area of the industry and by the opportunity to drive change and support hotels in improving their performance.

Prior to joining Kalibri Labs, Matt spent three years as a part of Marriott's Channel Strategy and Distribution team working on a variety of initiatives in the online hotel distribution space. These included both industry-wide efforts and product lines within Marriott. Matt had responsibility for reporting, marketing and merchandising for Marriott’s vacation packaging vertical, collaborating across internal teams on industry-wide projects and working with the distribution team to vet potential new partners.

Matt holds a BS from the Cornell University School of Hotel Administration.
